The Crusades part 2
Now i have never been an all out religious nut. I have spent a good deal of my life basking in my atheism. But after the events in my life i have taken up my own beliefs.
You may be wondering what this thread is about :

Ok you have your beliefs atheists and we have ours please respect humanity enough by not deliberately stamping your boot all over something that you don't believe in i have spent a long time resenting all religion all workings of the soul , shit even the existence of good will overcoming instinct.
I personally disagree with the Christian faith due to many many factors but that does not mean i personally try to seek out Christians and break their beliefs and make them believe my opinion. Strip them of their most intimate values just so i can feel bigger and smarter.
And thats all it is just because you believe something why do you want everyone else to believe it so badly.
Atheism is meant to be portrayed as this realist intelligent argument against religion. And at the moment it seems as mature as a whining toddler. I mean if atheism really was intelligent it would realize that atheists aren't necessarily going to be greater contributers to society.
There will never be a place where we all believe the exact same thing. Unless George Orwell's revelations come true.So cant we all simply respect the fact that just because someone is religious doesn't mean that they are stupider or in any way less intelligent than yourself.
The only real humanity lies within respect and care for each other.
