I think all forms of suicide are wrong except this one.

This isn't ethical at all, your preference of which sex you choose shouldn't dictate whether or not your life (if taken by yourself) is worth something or not.

yah but it, like other congenital (or for the sake of argument unchangeable) problems are fundamentally out of the control of the victim. So I guess my conjecture is really a subset of "If you were born into extremely unfavorable conditions, is it acceptable to kill yourself?"

Why does one have to be born into these conditions? Someone can be born and only then get into or realize they got into some shit. I don't see any pre-pubescent gays complaining about their sorrows. Why not just skip the fluff and restate it as
"If you are experiencing extremely unfavorable conditions, is it acceptable to kill yourself?"

In which case you are defining pretty much every suicide.
