An Argument from reason

I can not possibly keep up with all the posts in here so I am going to try and keep in centered. From what I have read most people in here belief that A:Life is an illusion B:Self-created universe i.e. spontaneous generation,chance, etc. etc. C:Self-existent something or other, mainly that something has existed eternally i.e. matter, the universe D:Creation- God has neccessarily created the universe (God not having to be specifically christian, but rather the philosophic God at the moment) I would like to start by asking which of these you believe and I will respond in turn to each of your answers. Give a reasoning behind it please, or else I can not much respond unless I assume everything you believe. I have seen threads floating around that want an explanation for ... belief I guess. This is not an explanation of my faith, but rather a reason why it is logical for me to have faith in such things. Therefore I am here to give a reason for the faith that I have. Thank you for your posts and be patient because my answers might come slow, for I promise to consider each argument and analyze it as objectively as I can.

If you want to give reasons for why you have faith, go ahead and do so. If you want to give reasons why the universe can not exist without God/gods, then go ahead and do that. It isn't necessary for individual posters to clarify what they believe. You don't need to ask for an argument. Post your own beliefs and why you have them and you'll be sure to get one.

Well thank you, but this has nothing to do with the thread and if you wish to find such things there are plenty of other threads on this page. However, I do not think I am limited in the scope of thread making to ONLY be able to do the above mentioned things. I wish simply to begin a centered argument and have it out with reason at the forefront.

If he wishes to find such things? What Martini said has everything to do with the thread. You're asking people to state their beliefs so you can deconstruct them. That's being done already in every thread on this forum. If you want to argue, state your own beliefs and you'll get an argument. Asking for one is a bit ridiculous. You stated that you here to give a reason for the faith that you have. Then you have no reason to wait for someone else to give their reasons for the ones they have or the ones they are without. More then 24 hours and no one else has played along. That should tell you something.
