I was at a friends house, and I read this...in the book that I read it in, it was worded much differently...there was no way to mistake it for cattle, more like humans.

Someone care to explain further? I asked a "holy" friend of mine and she said some bullshit about not letting your animals you own alone because they will breed all the time and soon you will have hundreds of animals.

I wish I knew the wording that the book I read had it in.

Racial distinction is even lower than subspecies, so I don't think interracial breeding is against any "your own kind" book.

If the book that you read it in was different, then somewhere along the line there was a mistranslation. I mean, only one of the versions (if either) is the "true" one (at least the "original" one) - meaning it might not have been directed towards humans, but somewhere along the line someone decided it was, and put it in there themselves. When that happens, shit gets more confusing.

(Okay, so I'm basically just speaking the painstakingly obvious here... ignore that.)

I also think it probably speaks more towards being against beastiality rather than interracial relationships.

Even IF the bible meant do not breed with other races....the bible is wrong. For an example of shit the bible tells you to do that you should not do: Look up the bible's cure for leprosy:
