Not to mention the thousands of pogroms agaisnt Jews that took place thoughout history.

The Jews have suffered immensly throughout history. One would be hard pressed to find any other religious, racial or cultural group that has faced as much persecution as the Jew have.

So throughout history the Jewish people have lived with this cloud of hate over them. Something that would make any nation suspicious of any percieved threat against their livelehood and existance.

Living like this will creates a sense of paranoia that will permeate from generation to generation.

This is why Israel defends the land they have with such ferocity, because history suggests that if they loose that land they will have nothing left. They will be exterminated.
Antisemitism, has no logic what so ever. I cannot fathom how being Jewish can enrage and encite people to commit such horrid atrocities.

Well Jews themselves go astray, it's the zionists that constantly call them out on being self-hating jews if they don't engage in pushing the agenda, whatever it is. There is no statistic that reliably tells us how many jews have left the full-blown jew lifestyle, integrating into whatever the host country happens to be, because their culture is very tight-knit.

Examples of atrocities perpetrated upon black people include the Arab slave trade, trans-Atlantic slave trade, Tuskegee studies and segregated housing. Examples of atrocities committed against the Chinese include the Unit 731 experiments; far worse than the holocaust I might add, but you don't see them whining.

I would advise you ( as a Jewish person, I assume?) to differentiate between "who you are" and "what you do". I personally tend to believe that Jews are persecuted for what they do, not for who they are.

Ok this might a lil out of the scope of this debate but, why did the Jews insist on living among racial/cultural/religious aliens, who on top of all that, actively sought to kick them out? Why didn't they just up and leave? Was it because the Jews did not have their own homeland, or what? If that's the case, how did they even evolve into a people in the first place? (you need a land on which to live, prosper, and multiply)

This may be true, however I am sure it must happen for a good reason. People don't tend to just wake up one day and say, "hey, those Jews look different and worship a different god than us, let's get them!!!"

Actually I think what happened was, those who were less paranoid tended to be more open towards having relationships with gentiles, and this conceivably led to intermarriages, leaving the more paranoid ones behind who tended to stick to themselves. You do this for enough generations you eventually will end up with a people who exhibit traits of paranoia (among others).

I'm no Jew, hell I couldn't even direct you to the nearest synagogue, but what I fail to understand is what have they done wrong?

What did the Jew's do to Hitler or Germany for that matter? Did the Jew's invade them? Did the Jew build camps and enslave their population?

What are Jew's doing to you now, that is oppresive, hateful or otherwise wrong?

What have Jew's done in your mind that justifies their persecution through the ages? Is it their religious dogma, is it their cultural values, what is it?

The general theme of your responses, is they desereve it. What have they done to deserve it?

The atrocities committed by slave traders etc and segregation pale in comparsion to the decimation of millions of a population. Unit -731? 580,000 deaths because of military based chemical and biological warefare experiments there. These were chinese, russian and even some american people, no specific religious entity was targeted purposefully for complete destruction. A completely different scenario.

How did christians evolve into a people? From their humble begginings and expansion from Rome onwards? They never had their own land, yet they also chose to settle in lands which were not there's and faced persecution for that?
