I think that when people argue about which religious position is the "best", we only end up causing more problems for each other and making the world worse off for everyone.

Getting angry at other people who say their belief in God is better then somebody else's, or getting upset because someone thinks it's stupid to even believe in God or to not believe in God is like getting angry because someone says their favorite color is better then yours.

All this competition, over what? Concepts which exist only in our minds. To say my concept of God is "truth" and all others conceptions of God are wrong is like claiming that the ground my house is built on and the materials it is made of and the junk it contains are all "mine". The ground and the house and the junk just are. The possession of these things is only in my mind.

In the same way, reality/existence/whatever is the way it is. The way you think of it is just the way you think of it. We cannot force any conceptions of God to be "truth" just like we cannot force vanilla to taste the "best", just like I cannot actually "own" anything.
