I dated this girl a long time ago and things ended really bad. But we are friends now, and she said she has gone back to her religion Jehovas Witness. I think she is abiding by all the rules. I told her Happy Birthday, and she told me she doesn't celebrate her birthday!

I know they can't have sex outside of marriage, so does this mean no dating?? Do they really not have any sex?

I tried to ask her out and she said she doesn't date. I thought she was lying, but I researched it and she may be telling the truth.

So if they don't date how do they get to the marriage thing?? I'm confused. Can anyone shed some light on this for me?
