Well first off, do you think a god that is soo loving he gave you life and a god that is soo loving that hecreated this reality blah blah blah, and soo on; Do you think he would burn you in the lake of fire for an eternity? Would you burn a dog you loved your whole life and grew up with, but on its last days of its life, it kills another dog. Would you burn him for an eternity?
Another thing in the bible. It never directly says you will directly go to hell and burn forever. It often hints to that and uses phrases simular to that but metaphorically for another meening. What it truly states is that 'you will be exempted from the kingdom of god'
now if you arent in the kingdom of god were are you? if you arent a part of his creations were are you, if he created all reality. If he bans you from his creations you merely dont exist.
As i like to end all religouse discussions.
...We Will Find Out When We Die...
P.S. sorry for repeating something again. But this forum gets the same things but from another person repeated every week. Litterrally, so dont get mad i did the same thing.

...unless God has kicked us out of his creation, in which case finding anything out will be irrelevant, seeing as how we don't exist.

Where in the Bible does it say God burns people in Hell?
Cite a specific verse if you're going to make that claim.
Answer: there is no such verse.

This analogy fails on at least two different grounds.
All due respect, but a poor argument.

I like this part!
You're absolutely right - the Bible makes only metaphoric claims about Hell. The Bible also does state that you will be "separated from the kingdom of God." However, I do not think that means that non-Christians will cease to exist upon death. I think a non-Heaven afterlife does exist, but it is only torture, I believe, in the way that it is separation from God. I do not believe direct physical torture is the kind of punishment non-Christians will suffer.
So, good point there.

Negativity attracts negative entities.
You create your own hell, hell is not eternal.
I do not believe hell is an eternity of pain that you cannot choose to leave. Various NDE accounts claim everyone chooses where to go, their physical lives prior to incarnating, and they claim hell is only lack of love, and that evil is illusion, there is only love and lack of love. Hell is a very subjective thing, a state of mind, negative emotions, etc.
Next time you hear some bible thumping christian say "you dont go to hell if you choose not to" don't think of it in terms of physical reality which they seem to do. Think of it as, yes, when you die, you can choose to be in misery, or you can choose to move on.
However you percieve reality is what becomes reality for you.
Then again, you're right. The only proof would be if we ourselves died, right?

God doesn't make people go to hell, but he doesn't make people go to heaven either.
P.S.
You are all selfish idiots...except the true believers.

this so old, so hackneyed but still the best way to explain it. big old feast. everyone sitting around the table. but lo! the cutlery is gargantuan. forks five foot long!
those who try to feed only themselves starve and inccur dreadful injury. those who feed each other have a spiffing time. two sides of the same coin.
of course there are also those who, like myself, eat with their hands and start food fights...

Hell is not an eternal thing. Hell is like when a child does something wrong. The kid gets grounded. So hell could be thought of as God saying, "You're grounded pal". It's only a temporary thing, and you are let off once you have learned your lesson.

You know, I think it's a little more complicated than that, DarkFire. But that's more or less what I believe.
