First- disragard my Username, its kinda gay
Many great punk rock bands choose No Religion and do whatever they want, sin a ton.
I believe there is a God, one true God, Jesus Christ. I dont want to be a christian/jesus freak, for i dont want to conform to every rule God makes. I am a Christian though, and i dont think i will ever become an athesist for God created the world, ppl, and died to set us free. Ive tried many "worldly" things, because i want to have fun. So a ? I have is---
---Those who choose NO Religion, like Pennywise and Green Day(great bands), why do u?
i think 1) You want to do whatever you want, dont want to be assoc. with Christian and their rules.
2)Its all you know, what other punks believe, you dont really understand Christianity, but u think u do.
? 2---George Bush says he's a Christian, he started the war in Iraq which some/most Christians believe is right, but im not sure about it.
---What do u think of Bush and the War?

Make 2 seperate topics man...don't try to push these together.
Music preferance doesn't really mean anything, but im a satanic-music kind of guy.
Bush is not the smartest guy in the world, but at least the USA is still alive. I'll give him that much credit.

The US wasn't dying when he came into power, so the fact that its still alive is no accomplishment.
And I have a question.
Why do a lot of people who believe in God [actually it seems to come more from religious people then people who simply believe in God] seem to think there is some 'reason' behind why others don't believe. Can't you just accept that just like you believe some people just don't? There is no real reason, just in their heads they feel a God truly does not exist. Not because they want to rebel or do a bunch of sinful things in life. Logically, if someone just wanted to do sinful things, shouldn't they become christian? God supposedly forgives us of everything, but if you don't accept Jesus as our lord you don't get into heaven. So wouldn't it make more sense to sin and be forgiven then to be an athiest and not goto heaven?
It only makes sense to me that they truly believe God does not exist.

Mainly, this is for atheists and non-christians.
Think: There is two choices when the world crashes down or when you die. Heaven and Hell. Heaven is a place where you live eternally, you will never die, you wont be complete mindless drones in heaven either. Hell is a place where you will burn forever, you will never die(i think), u will just burn and suffer forever, it would be the worst thing you could ever have to do. How can u just live like 30-80 years and then when you die, just burn forever? you have a chance to NEVER die, live eternally in heaven...but yet you'd rather burn in hell b/c on earth you can do whatever you want, God created all of us, gave us life, gave us a free will, and created the world. I do believe about 95% that God is real and there is a heaven, even though im no perfect teen. Just think though and Reply, do u really want to burn in Hell when you die when u have a chance to live forever? Make the damn decision for yourself, not because of friends.

non-Christian's beliefs are based on the idea that Christianity is wrong. We wouldn't rather "burn in hell b/c on earth you can do whatever you want", we'd rather "do whatever we want" because we don't believe in hell (or in a Christian hell in the case of some beliefs).
Your point is quite valid, so long as the beliefs it rely on are also proven true.
If you could manage to prove Christianity as being true though - most non-Christians would immediately convert.

Religions are the first drafts of human law.
Man create god and the laws to follow.
god is nothing more than a symbol, like santa claus, the tooth fairy or the boggie man. god is a hype, a fad that will eventually go out of style.
Heaven and hell are imaginary places. Heaven and hell define state of being. Orgasam is heaven and a root-canal is hell. Then you die and return to the earth.
Once the body dies and the mind has been eaten by worms, you no longer feel physical pain or sensations. The solid decomposes and the energy the body emits returns to the environment.
Religion restricts the spirit. The spirit wants to be free but humans complicate things by trying to control the spirit instead of nurturing the spirit.
What humans realize as reality is only a tiny percentage of the universe. A billionth of a reality. Human's view of the universe if extremely narrow minded and sometimes not logical.

secondly, the reason most ppl are cristian is heredidty, there parnets say they are
third, chistianity is not the only religion that drives for peace and equality.
finally, many ppl dont belive in heaven and hell, i for one believe in reincarnation, so i will be "burning nowhere" thank u.
