To the Body of Christ [Not to the World]

When the head, or brain, sends 'signals' to the arms, legs, mouth, fingers, or toes, it is carried out and completed. It is completed because the receptive end receives and obeys. Your finger doesn't move without your brain, first, sending the 'signal' or command to your finger. This is how our bodies were created to function. This is also how the Body of Christ was created to function.

When the brain [head] sends the signal to the body parts, or parts of the body, and it is carried out, incompleted, something kept or hindered the receptive end from receiving to complete what was send out, and not completed. This leaves the body in a paralyzed state. If you're paralyzed, your brain sends signals. Nothing is wrong with the brain. The error is with the body, because the body isn't receiving or obeying the command sent by the brain.

Such is the Body of Christ. Something seems to be keeping, or hindering, the Body of Christ from receiving the commands of Christ, the head of the body. Matthew 13:45 & 46 says the following.

Again, the Kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: Who when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all he had, and bought it.

This scripture speaks of a single pearl, of great price, that is able to be attained if you're willing to pay the price to get it! What's keeping the body from receiving the signals? Could it be in a slumber? If so, I say wake up in the name of Jesus and prepare the way of the Lord!

We've allowed the world to seduce us into closet, carnal Christians.

In Romans 12:2 Paul says, " And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God."

In Romans 8:1-13 Paul states the following.

"There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us,who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live."

We know that the Price of this World's system is Satan, our adversary. The ways of the World, is dictated by Satan, because Satan is the World's Father. However, we've received the spirit of adoption whereby we cry Abba; Father. We are New Creatures in Christ Jesus. Old things PASS AWAY, all things BECOME NEW. Our Father isn't Satan anymore, our Father is God. Therefore we're to imitate God, our Father, asDEAR CHILDREN! How are we suppose to reach the world, and show them OUR FATHER, when we're acting like their father is ours? How are we suppose to convince them of the FAITH we're assured in, if we're not living what we say we believe, and showing them, or PROVING what is that good, and acceptable will of God?

The Head commands the Body:

Joshua 23:6

Be ye therefore very courageous to keep and to do all that is written in the book of the law of Moses, that ye turn not aside therefrom to the right hand or to the left;

Matthew 5:48

Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

Matthew 10:16

Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

Luke 6:36

Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.

Luke 12:40

Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.

Ephesians 5:1

Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;

1 Peter 4:7

But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.

John 15:17

These things I command you, that ye love one another. If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.

These are COMMANDMENTS. Receive the command, and complete it.

John 15:14

Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.

1 Kings 11:38

And it shall be, if thou wilt hearken unto all that I command thee, and wilt walk in my ways, and do that is right in my sight, to keep my statutes and my commandments, as David my servant did; that I will be with thee, and build thee a sure house, as I built for David, and will give Israel unto thee.

It's an overly religiousy way of saying that the Christian community isn't following the precepts of Christianity, which is why Christianity is not as successful as it could be.

It's because they won't let them preach in church!

Not that I don't love you sinners, I do. However, it takes the Church getting in order, in order for them to show, by example to the WORLD, how mighty and awesome our God is.

You make a very good point. Many people that claim to be Christians don't actually follow the faith. I admit that I fail in that sometimes, but generally I follow what my church teaches and am a good example to others. People really notice when you act like that too, and really respect it. What makes people not respect Christans (and religion in general) is when they see people going completely opposite of what they say they believe.

There are many examples of women prophets and disciples in the New Testament...hell, there were a few in the OT as well.

We are not to LEAD congregations, but we are certainly allowed to witness.

Your post was ridiculously long and I couldn't read it, but I did find an error.

You said that the brain always commands the movement. This is not the case. Nerves can follow a reflex arc, in which a nervous impulse travels from the sensory neuron, to the spinal cord, to the motor neuron.
