What is the church's obsession with 3's?

Yeah, i apologize, i was in a hurry and i made a note to post about it. Well i mean here are some examples:

1. Jesus falls 3 times

2. He's encountered by three women

3. there are 3 total crucifixes when he's "put up there"

4. He rises after 3 days

5. Peter denies him 3 times

There are many more, but i cant really think of them right now. But is it coincidence or do you think it really means something?
