Ok today I heard that the pope declaired it ok to corned beef on St. Patricks day which this year is on a friday. Now two questions, isnt it a sin to eat meat on fridays during lent and how can the pope decide that it is ok to so?
dude, the pope is a pimp, he can do what he wants becasue he has right. the pope's statements are the same as if spoken by god. therefore, god said it was all right to eat corned beef.
The pope has said the the bishops that they can decide to give pardon for eating meat on St.pats day, so its up to your local bishop. My bishop said no but there are others that have said yes.
