i want an interesting religion.

im currently atheist, but i want an interesting, perhaps somewhat random religion i can tell people about.

i was thinking perhaps pagan? im not really into that wicken, witches, mother earth stuff though.

any suggestions?

There have been several studies that show that over the course of many years Buddhists have been able to change the way their brains function.

We aren't talking about euphoria. This is a much deeper mind body connection and for that reason Buddhism remains the number one religion that can actually inhibit your well being.

same here. i find it funny how text in a book can make people think "God" is talking to them. that and how the most religious nuts are the people that don't even follow what their religion preaches.

I don't find it funny, I find it facinating how strongly religion effects people and society.

Yea, I don't find it funny at all. And I think it's great when it effects people in a positive way. What's bad is when it's used as a tool to control people.

You really shouldn't seek a religion just for the 'interesting' factor. Find something that spiritually aligns with your mentality and is personally fulfilling. Buddhism is a good option, if you want a spiritual path rather than a religion or in addition to a religion.
