(Christian) I've heard a theory that he created us as an experiment. He would give a creature created in his image freewill and see how how humanity would unfold. and every so often guide us with an invisible hand to further the experiment to its end. maybe he just wanted to see if people would choose to follow him or stray away from thier creator and he would reward those who followed and punished those who followed the devils way. maybe the devils turning was the whole reason for this, to see who would follow the devils path or his.

If you're Christian, then you believe god is allknowing, so why would he need to do any kind of experiment? He would know the results automatically.

A better theory is that we are God's debris, that God, being allknowing, has only thing he could not possibly know. What would happen if he were to cease to exist. If he didn't exist, could he still percieve anything?

Using this logic, he may have blasted himself into billions of tiny pieces, or humans.

And as we grow, mature and evolve we come closer and closer to establishing ourselves as God, much like a neural network in the brain creates something greather than the sum of its parts.

No, we aren't God's experiment. As Nepthys said, God is all-knowing and has no need for experiments.

Some things vaguely seem like experimentation, such as Lilith being the first woman. Not only did that go horribly wrong, but it was managed poorly by God, too.
