Folsom Street Fair Poster

In case you haven't heard, conservative and religious groups are getting their panties in a twist over the poster for the gay fair held in San Francisco.

The poster depicts people in leather in a scene based on the last supper.

Personally I don't see how Christianity is harmed by the poster. I don't remember DaVinci's painting becoming canonical.

It also suggests that these groups believe speech critical of religion should be outside the boundaries of free speech, which is very disturbing.

Bill Oreilly was bitching about this for one reason:

San Francisco denied a request from the Marines to film a commercial on a busy street at rush hour, but allowed this Street Fair to shut down many streets during the day to do what they do.
