What's the point of a faith?

What makes one faith any more significant than another? Who are christians to say they are worthy of heaven and anyone who deviates from their ideal beliefs will burn in hell? How do they know what god really wants?

I don't see any sensible theory to why they should feel superior.

I would have respect for the religion itself if it weren't for jesus freaks.

I've decided to drop religion all together. I think I'm very well capable of thinking for myself without having my family pressuring me.

As George Carlin said, "When it comes to bullshit, religion takes the cake."

I don't think god expects much out of us.
I am positive I wouldn't either, if I were god. Everyone can develop their own path to god, I suppose.
