Moment of silence in school?

As of last week we are required to have a 2 minute long 'moment of silence' every morning at my school so that people can have a time to pray. This is fucking dumb. People do not need to have a time set aside to pray during school. They can pray before or after school, or just find a quiet time during class and pray to themselves. Crrect me if Im wrong, but aren't religious practices not allowed in school? If so then why the hell did they put a time aside to pray? I heard that they did this nation wide (in America), is this true? Do you guys also have a gay prayer time during school?

Simply talk through it. Ask your teacher questions. Talk to your friends and convince them to talk through it. Tell them that you do not recognize a God and find it offensive to YOUR beliefs when they take you to the principle and call your parents.

Try to talk with your parents beforehand as well. Take the fight to them.

The moment of silence is the organized religion in this country SUCCESSFULLY installing a trojan horse of theism into a SECULAR function.

That is why it matters. It matters b/c nobody should be able to tell you to shut the fuck for two minutes so they can pray. So that you can pray. If you want to pray GO TO YOUR CHURCH. Therein lies the problem. With increased decline in church attendance the corporatations of god see a drop in profits.

The fastest way to fill the pews and the best is to indoctrine the young. ALL CULTS try to find young people or drug addicts (AA anyone) b/c these people generally lack the self esteem, and willpower it takes to fight the meme complex that is religion.

If we let them have 2 minutes will it stop there? No it cannot. Theists HAVE to convert non-theists. To not spread the word is taboo to the church. I am saying spread it to ADULTS and not children. There are laws that protect our children for reasons. They are underdevoloped emotionally and intellectually. They lack wisdom. That is why a grown man cannot legally fuck a 15 year old girl. We have determined that she lacks the sound judgement to be a willing participant. We have laws to protect the flesh but by a theists belief the soul is so much more important. We HAVE laws to protect our children from the spiritual vultures (Xtians) in the world. This 2 minutes of silence imo violates those laws.

B/C everyone knows what it is really for. It is for the Xtians who pushed it into the school in the first place. It is NOT for personal reflection. It is to indoctrine the young to pray for two minutes five days a week. Even someone who does not believe will be thinking about god for two minutes. They will be thinking about god for two minutes a day at an institution payed for by taxes taken from the public.

If churches REALLY want prayer in school I have a solution. Tax the church. Tell the churches in America that they can have two minutes Jesus time in a public classroom and put creationist bullshit in science books AND have the ten commandments in a court house. All they have to do is pay taxes.

Watch the church SHUT the fuck up about it. No way would they start putting the money they are taking out of this country back into it in the form of taxes even if they could legally indoctrine our young. They would not do it.

Why don't churches dip into their immense tax free coffers and make private religious schools more cheap?
