I have spent about a decade and a half of my life actively practicing two different religions. Christianity and Buddhism. I do remember the most intimate details of comprehending God. I remember prayer. That moment in which it is you and this great force. Staring at the night sky, speaking softly to my God, tears in the corner of my eyes........

.........and I saw. I saw the stars that seemed to be strung together. The complex beauty of it all, and I KNEW God was real. God was real, he loved me, he loved this tiny little simple rock in space.

We were his children.
