Advanced Complaint Letters Scam ? the other side.

I’ve just finished reading the ‘Advanced Complaint Letters Scam’ article, and thought people might like to hear the other side. This is so that readers may weigh both sides of the argument before submitting their scam complaints.

Large companies know this goes on. They increase the cost of their products so that they are not out of pocket. They also increase prices to allow for administration costs and what’s known as ‘shrinkage’ (theft). The administration alone probably costs the company more than the ill-gotten check or coupons they send out. People who send scam complaint letters are simply increasing the cost of the product for everyone else. They are leaches on society (that’s you and me!) They steal from society, not big business.

Another point to consider, which companies are you targeting? Some smaller companies simply can’t afford such scams. They might spend years developing products, only to be ripped off by letter that the scammer took five minutes to write. Scammers can put such companies out of business. The ramifications of this are that large, competing businesses become bigger, fuelling globalisation, and hardworking people lose their jobs. This is no exaggeration. I personally know of one small company that prides itself on customer service. However, this is becoming their downfall, as they are now making a loss due to such scammers, and 'customers' looking for free products.

One final point, some complaints are genuine. One day you might really need to complain, but no one will listen.

Consider how you really want to make money. You can steal from people using scams, or you can set up your own business and maybe even make people’s lives better. Remember, what goes around comes around.

Anon.
