Carding
Picture yourself kickin along at 14,400 baud with an USR High Speed Modem.
Yeah, your bad and you're known as one of the top modemers in your area.
Or say you need a new Hard drive to run that BBS you are planning to put up.
Sounds Great Doesn't it? Problem is you CASH FLOW. It's as dry as a desert.
And Mom doesn't plan to fork you over the money just like that. What do you do?
I was in the same situation and believe me, I was crying because of it. I had
an idea but I had failed several times at trying to do it. Well, after some
failures, I finally got what I wanted: A USR 14.4k External Modem. (Which
saved me about $550.00 too!)
I. Find your Drop!
~~~~ ~~~~ ~~~~~
1. Often, it's easy to find a drop that is local unless you live in Texas which
I hear, is pretty hard to card shit. You want to find a drop that is close to
you and isn't too far out of reach. You don't want one TOO close because if
you plan to card again, the attempts will be too localized and UPS will start
to wise up. You don't want a drop that is too far either because you don't want
to be walking home with a big ass box under yer arm, looking like you just
made off with a T.V.
A. Look for houses that have FOR SALE signs in front of them!
~ No, I don't mean the big ass signs with the wooden telephone pole smack
in the middle of the lawn, but find a house that has one of those small signs
that are made of small metal poles that you can rip out with one hand. These
are fairly easy to remove and won't be as difficult as the wooden signs.
B. Check the houses for signs of being abandoned.
~ Tons of flyers and free newspapers on the driveway show that nobody lives
there and that real estate/owners haven't been by in awhile to clean up the
driveway or lawn. Unmowed grass is another sign too. If you see a house with
Vietnam growing on their front lawn, check out that house. Also, if the window
shades are open, look inside. If there is nothing inside, you know nobody lives
there. If someone IS inside and they see you looking in, just say you thought
that the house was for sale! If you can't really tell if someone lives in the
house or not, be creative. Think of a way to get the people inside to come out.
Throw a ball in the back yard. Knock on the door and say your selling magazine
subscriptions. Break a window with a baseball. BE CREATIVE!
C. Check for signs of people living there.
~ Besides the obvious signs such as an open garage, car in the driveway,
or people on the lawn or inside of the house, look for other clues that might
help you to determine if someone lives there or not. Wound up hoses on the side
of the house, sprinklers that are running, smoke coming out of the chimney,
smoke coming from the back of the house from a barbecue, bikes on the lawn or
on the side of the house or even garbage that is put out. Stuff like that can
help you determine if someone lives there.
D. Do what's neccessary to make your drop look "lived-in."
~ Most drops that you find won't be completely perfect. They will have some
kind of flaw which can make the UPS man think the house is a bogus one. Some
of the flaw you will find are: For Sale signs, open curtains, Old Newspapers,
mailbox full of old mail, shitty grass, NO GRASS, dirty windows, tons of
on the door, big ass lock on the door to keep people from breaking in, etc.
If you see any of these, try to remedy them. Clean the windows, remove the
notices, mow the grass (I wouldn't do this unless I was getting a 486), cut
off the lock on the door (at night). On my last drop, the house was perfect
except that it has open curtains which opened up into the front yard. I fixed
this by breaking into the house through the back way, closed the drapes, and
left as quietly as possible.
II. OBTAINING YOUR CREDIT CARD!
Obtaining the credit card can be the hardest part of your carding
operation. You can run into a stall here and sometimes, depending on who you
are and where you work, you may not be able to get a card for a few weeks at
a time. The BEST way I think to get a card is from someone who works at a gas
station, department store, or computer shop. Find someone who does that you can
trust and make a deal with him. Hopefully, he can find out the credit limit on
the card and you will have enough. Another way to find a card is to find
someone with a TRW or CBI account. That way, if you know someone rich, you can
pull their entire credit limit, and ALL their credit cards. One time, we pulled
a CBI on a guy and they even showed his shitty SEARS card.
The classic way of getting a card is, of course, TRASHING. Now, I have not
experienced trashing because of my locality but I would love to do it since I
live in an area where phone/credit fraud is unheard of. But because it's not
heard of, I really don't have anyone to go with and who wants to go trashing
by himself? Best places that I've heard to trash for CC's are: Stores at the
Mall including Sears, Nordstrom's, Macy's, Bullock's, and May Co. JcPenny ain't
too hot if you know what I'm saying but then again, I haven't trashed Penny's.
If you don't know how to trash, I will be putting out a doc on it pretty soon
once I have experienced it.
III. PLACES TO ORDER FROM
Now, I'm sure you know what you wanna get and all that crap but what
you might not know is that alot of places that are very close to you are easier
then places you find in catalogs. Find a place that DOESN'T have a 1-800 number
but is very close, preferrably in the same or next area code. Why don't you
want to order from a non-800 number? 2 Reasons. 1. You don't want to be traced
back to calling the 1-800 since 800's have ANI. If you didn't know 800's had
ANI, just think. All 800's are, are automatic collect calls. The person that
owns the 1-800 number pays for EVERYBODY who calls them. That's what they are
for. 2. You don't want to order from them because if they don't have 800
numbers, you know they gotta be CHEAP and are starving for business. Plus,
people with out 1-800 numbers won't be as widely known and probably haven't
had been targeted by alot of carders.
A good place to order from are businesses in local magazines such as
MicroTimes, Computer Currents, or any other FREE 'puter or non-'puter mag.
(I'm speaking of computer stuff. If you'd like to get something else other then
computer stuff, the same rules apply) DON'T order from places with big ass
two page ads unless you have tried carding before and have been successful.
I don't recommend a two pager for the first time Carder.
IV. ORDERING YOUR ITEM
Ordering is usually the easiest part next to picking the stuff up if
you've got the voice and the coolness of an adult. (If yer under age. If yer
an adult, I don't think you'll have anything to worry about unless you get
caught. You can be thrown in jail while us minors can get away with murder!)
If you plan to order from a 1-800 number, you might want to try a phone booth
that is out of the way and is not fucking noisy. I ordered the first few times
from my house to a 1-800 number and I wasn't scared. If they called me back,
asking what I was calling the place for, I'd just say that I wanted to know the
price on something. But if you are ordering from home, have a phone booth
close by. I have a laundry mat right across the street with a phone so if they
were gonna call me back to verify the order, I'd run across the street. Usually
a good time to order from the place is in the morning (like 1 hour after they
opened) or 15 minutes before closing time. If it's not possible, then that's
ok; call during the afternoon when everyone's on lunch break.
When calling the operator, stay cool. Nothing will tip them off more then some
idiot who is shaking on the other end. Stay cool, act mature, and say THANK YOU
or THANKS. That is a big deal. One time when I TRIED to order something, I was
very rude and curt and I believe that's how they found out I wasn't the card
owner. When ordering the item, ask intelligent questions and sound like you
have no idea on what you're buying and you're just buying it as a present for
someone. MOST places will not send the item to anywhere else other then the
billing address!! If you find a place like this, say " Thank you sir but I'll
have to take my buisness elsewhere" and hang up. DON'T just hang up or the
operator may or may not report the card as STOLEN. Why don't you want to do
buisiness with them? Well for one thing, you want it to go to the drop address
and yea they might compromise to send it to the drop address BUT they will
call the phone number that belongs to the drop address and ASK. Findind nobody
there, they will report the card as stolen and you will have to start all over.
I found that the best people to order from are people that are (no offense)
oriental or indian or from foreign nation in the east. They aren't stupid but
they are very shy and timid and usually won't say much except when they are
taking your order. They won't run a check and they won't do anything in fear
of you yelling at them and taking yer buisness elsewhere.
After you have ordered yer stuff, say that you will call back whenever
to check to see if it's been sent. There are 2 reasons for this. 1 is to really
check if and when they've sent it or not and 2 is to find out if there is
money on the card and there was enough for the item you bought.
V. PICKING UP THE STUFF
Now that you've ordering yer shit successfully, it's just a matter of
time before you'll get yer new hard drive or stereo. Now, if you haven't made
yer drop to looked lived in, now is the time. Go late at night and do whatever
you have to do (i.e pick up leaves, break into house, get newspapers). Now this
is optional. You CAN sign a note and slap it to the door but there are alot of
things involved. If you live in a high credit fraud area, fuck yeah you're
gonna have to leave a note on the door and even break into the house, camp out
and wait until the UPS man comes. Then when he does, you open the door and sign
for the stuff. Now if you live in a non-credit fraud area like I do, chances
are that he'll leave the package on the door step without you leaving a note
on the door. If you don't and you fuck up, the UPS man will ALWAYS leave a
little yellow note saying that he'll be back tomorrow with the package. You can
either break into the house and wait OR sign the little yellow note he gave ya
and put it back on the door. Once you sign it, there is a 90% chance that he'll
take the note and leave the package on the doorstep. If you decide to write a
note, write it according to this format.

pick it up when I get home.

Now, where it says location, it's cool to tell him to leave the package
somewhere where nobody else will see it such as: (if you have access) backyard,
behind a plant or bush near the front porch, on the side of the house, OR with
a neighbor, but THAT IS VERY DANGEROUS unless YOU are the neighbor. If you give
it to the neighbor, you're going to have to meet face to face with the neighbor
and bullshit her out of the package WHICH will be hard since the house next
door is an empty one. But if you do have to bullshit her/him, tell them that
the package was delievered to them on accident and tell them that you're the
owner of the package. Describe the package and say your name is that of the
name on the box, NOT yer own.
Now that yo have the note established, all you gotta do is wait. If you know
what time UPS comes around in that area, I suggest you wait during that time
somewhere near the house. Keep an EYE out for other people sitting in cars or
walking around. If you come 15 minutes before UPS is scheduled to arrive, look
around for people who keep walking around the block over and over again.
These people sitting in cars and walking around MAY be FBI or some other law
enforcement agency. If they are there, fuck the package and LEAVE. If you want
to stay there and see what they are doing there, go ahead but remember they
have all the time in the world. You don't. If they are still there after an
hour of the package being there, forget the package and leave. It's better to
dump it then to get caught.
But wait a second, nobody is around? Well then, what are you waiting for?
CLAIM YER PRIZE! You earned it after all this preparing and determination
to card something. Some people tell you carding is easy and some say it's hard.
I say it depends. It's hard when you have absolutely NO resources to work with
such as a car, a card, drop, and your city is known for credit fraud. It's easy
if you have ALL those things.
Personally, I ordered a USR 14,4 HST and I got it after my fourth try. I got it
on my 4th try because I followed these do's and don't for the first time. The
other 3 times, I didn't know what the fuck I was doing. So if you follow these
rules to the letter, there is a very good chance you will receive what you want
V. OTHER DO'S AND DONT'S
DON'T order stuff for other people because it's a REAL hassle. It's not
worth it pal if you order stuff for other people. If you and a friend are going
to get the same things, make sure you do it at the same time because once you
start carding, you get very greedy and you don't want to share. I should know.
DO try over and over again. Like the old saying goes, "If at first you
don't succeed, try, try, again." Hey man, practice makes perfect. I don't know
one person who has gotten somethng on the first try on carding. Don't give up.
Carding is easy but there has to be room for error.
DON'T order something to a house that someone lives in. If someone is
home when the UPS guy comes, chances are they won't sign for it and you'll
have to start all over and that's a bitch.
DON'T brag to other people that you've carded all this shit because if
you do, word will get around and if something happens, people are going to be
pointing to you and you might get nailed. If you don't get nailed, you might
be observed or watched and that's a pisser because you'll have to give up
all yer computer or illegal activities.
DO join D.P.U.A's quest for knowledge and spread your knowledge to
other people.
DON'T order from Computer Shopper because that is the first place that
someone goes to look to card something. Look around. You will find the same
things in a local magazine. ALL the stores in the Computer Shopper have been
tried by carders at LEAST 15 Times each.
