I was playing with my Microsoft keyboard at night when i spilled some pop on it and it stopped working. The next day i called Microsoft hardware support to see if anything could be done about being able to get a replacement and how much it would cost. They just asked me to look on the bottom of my keyboard to find the P/N (Product Number). I asked the lady on the phone for what address I should mail it to and she said that it was useless to them and that it happened all the time. She just asked for basic information about where to send the package in which I used the neighborhood abandoned house.

They said that it would be shipped out air mail at the end of the business day.

Sure enough three days later there was my new keyboard in a small brown box sitting out on the steps.

This gave my an idea to do this on a bunch of products that Microsoft sells. I ran on down to my local wal-mart to see what else i could get for free. I tore through boxes of stuff until i found the product code and called the support line sure enough in three days my brand new joystick was sitting in front of the door.

Oh and none of these things should be followed through this is an information article and none of the ideas in any form should be taken seriously.
