There are several types of perscription pills available in the U.S. market, most of which are pointless and potentially dangerous to take. If you are not sure exactly what a pill is, DO NOT INGEST IT, research online sources like erowid.org, or try to identify what it is.

Warning: it is against federal law to use perscription pills inconstant with its labeling, I do not encourage or condone ingesting any pills, capsules, etc. for any reason other than that labeled on the bottle, but only propose to share knowledge in order to curb ignorance and promote safety.

Recreational Types:

  • Benzodiazipines
  • Opiates/Opiods
  • Stimulants
  • Muscle Relaxents
  • Barbituates
  • Anti-Depressants

1. Benzos

Benzos are used medicinally as an anti-anxiety medication, but also can be perscribed as a sleep aid and anti-convulsiant (especially clonazapam).

Common recreational ones include diazepam (valium), alprazolam (xanax, which incidentally is what I am now thanks to my script), lorazepam (ativan), and clonazapam (klonopin).

There are, of course, many more, but they are somewhat less mainstream. Though if you ever get the chance to get trazolam (halcion) it is highly recommended and said to have one of the greatest rushes of all benzos, but be careful, it is very powerful.

2. Opiates/Opiods

These narcotic analgesics are very commonly abused painkillers. These include but are not limited to codeine (tylenol 3), hydrocodone (vicoden, lortab), oxycodone (percocet, oxycontin, mscontin), morphine, diacetyl morphine (heroin), oxymorphone, and fentanyl.

Heroin is about as addictive as nicotine, which is to say, rather addictive. Withdrawel from severe addiction is known to be quite severe, so caution is recommended to anyone wanting to abuse these.

Effects include euphoria, depressed resperation, nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, and sometimes "the itchies."

Be aware that some of the aforementioned medications include other things such as acetomenophen which is toxic to the liver in high doses. Drinking alcohol while on any depressant or downer is at risk for severe resperatory depression resulting in death.

If alcohol is to be consumed with perscription pill should proceeded with severe caution, and a cut back to normal doseage to account potentation.

3. Stimulants

Stimulants are used for ADD/ADHD medication and in some cases for weight loss and narcolepsy. Common ones include methylphenidate (ritalin, concerta), Adderall which is a mixture of several amphetamine salts, but including dextro-amphetamine, dextro-amphetamine (dexidrine), and methamphetamine (methadrine).

All of those listed after adderall are almost never perscribed for anything, so they are rare, though of course methamphetamine can be found in the U.S. black market fairly easily these days.

There are several other kind of stimulants, but these are the majority of the recreational ones. All CNS stimulants are subject to addiction, and the scourges of cocaine/crack and their addictive qualities have made widely known.

4. Muscle Relaxants

Most MRs are not really recreational, with the exception of carisporadol (soma), but several of them are great for adding to opiate/opiod experiances.

5. Barbituates

These are what benzos replaced after these replaced qualuudes for anti-anxiety medications. It is still perscribed, but only very rarely. If you find any of these, be very careful with doseage, do not drink booze, and make sure you have a clue of what you are about to do, these can be very powerful.

6. Anti-depressants

Recreationally, they really do suck, although bupropion (wellbutrin) has some noticble effects. The real point here is that anti-depressants can have severe and even fatal consequences when used in combination with other psychoactive substances. MAOIs especially. If you are on ADs then check and make sure before consuming any chemicals.

This is not a very comprehensive guide, but really just a random thing I pulled out of my ass, but hopefully I can spread at least some knowledge so that users ignorance doesn't lead to death.

Good Day Mate
