Star Trek: The Next Generation Drinking Game
Recently, someone posted a version of a ST:TNG drinking game. With
some assistance from my housemates, I have developed my own version, the
text of which follows: (I posted this several months ago, so some may recognize
it, however in the meantime it has grown)
Ladies and Gentleman, Electro Productions is proud to present:
THE STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION DRINKING GAME
1) Sip on holodeck scenes
2) Sip when beautiful womem appear in holodeck scenes
3) Chug when holodecks malfunction
4) Sip on saucer separations
5) Sip when Troi "senses" something, chug when she asks if someone
is 'troubled' when the look on their face makes it obvious they
are
6) Sip when someone beats on Worf
7) Sip when Yar gets a line other than "Hailing frequencies open"
8) Sip when Data says "Intriguing!"
9) Sip when Crusher calls Picard "Jean-Luc"
10) Drink a fifth when Wesley saves the ship
11) Sip when Wesley's life is threatened, drown your sorrows when he
survives
12) Sip when the Big E fires its weapons
13) Sip when strange diseases strike the Big E's crew
14) Sip when aliens invade the Big E
15) Sip when Starfleet personnel visit the big E; chug if they're
admirals
16) Sip on new chief engineers
17) Sip when yellowshirts die
18) Chug when Crusher/Pulaski says "He's dead <pause>"
19) Sip on underacting
20) Chug when Picard/Riker gets the girl (this is for you light
drinkers)
21) Sip when Picard says "Engage", chug if he gestures with his hand
22) Chug on engine room climaxes
23) Sip when ST:TOS plots are rehashed
24) Chug when the old Big E or its crew are mentioned
25) Chug when a plot complication resolves itself without the crew's
interference
26) Sip when bartenders act like counselors/psychiatrists
27) Chug when the auto-destruct is activated
28) Chug when the Big E is hurled into a void or another dimension
29) Sip when an alien knocks off a crewmember for no apparent reason
30) Sip when Pulaski refers to Data as "it"
31) Sip when Data acts like Sherlock Holmes
32) Chug when lousy comedians appear as guest stars
33) Sip when Data's head jerks
34) Sip when Data spouts all the adjectives of a word
35) Sip when Picard tells orders someone to "Make it so!"
36) Chug when Picard is ready to surrender
37) Chug when ST:TOS or STI,II,III,or IV plot devices are used
38) Sip when Pulaski cuts someone off in mid-sentence
39) Sip on pretty navigators or transporter chiefs
40) Get blasted when Wesley gets a girlfriend (these scenes are sooo
bad that this is the only way to tolerate them)
NOTE: When an item involved an extended scene (e.g. a Holodeck scene
or Data acting like Holmes), sip or chug at the start of the scene
and again at any returns to that scene later in the episode
