Organ transplant section was founded by the number one hospital of China medical university since 1992,and now have succeeded in doing kidney transplant, liver transplant, heart transplant, lung transplant and other organs transplant operations, now we are the only organization in China who can provide kidney transplant, liver transplant, pancreas transplant, heart transplant, lung transplant. And have accumulated a lot of experiences in organ procurement, organ selecting, transplant operation, operation management, the feed back of operation and many other aspects .now we have formed a multi-organs transplant systematic management including internal medicine, the surgical department and the transplant LAB. our patients come from all over the country, in addition, we have succeed in doing kidney transplants for 3 Japanese, 7 patients from Korea and Kidney-Pancreas Transplant for an American patients. now we have succeed in doing 60 different transplant operations every year since 1998. organ transplant research institute was established in 2002 and was approved by the government as the multi-organ transplant center.

A Transplantation assistance center, which mainly focuses on the foreigners, was founded in 2003 in the Transplantation Institutes of the First Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University by the CITNAC. In this center, all doctors and nurses are accomplished in English and Japanese. Because they had been studied abroad, they are familiar with the international culture. Patients can accept their treatment without any worries. After the operations, the patients can still have the further treatment in the TICU, or the ward for the senior officers, which provided the special care and the most advanced medical equipments in China. Also, in this center, the Japanese staff can speak fluent English just like their mother language; and the Chinese staff can also speak English or Japanese. They will provide a thorough service to all patients at any time. The patients and their families will be taken a good care on the way from the airport to their homeland. Meanwhile, under the assistance of local patients association, the center had also set up a system like: the experiences and opinions provided by the previous patients, who had received the transplant operations successfully, and some problems that the patients should pay attention to before the operation and after the operations as well. At the same time, they will relieve the patients' worries and doubt by answering their questions and make them satisfied. Furthermore, the lodgings, translators and vehicles are provided to the patients' families, which will make them more convenient.
