Is there any way to configure my firefox (under Ubuntu 7.04) so that the backspace key will go back one page?

Cheers.

I don't know, its not in preferences so I doubt it. But if you want it that bad you can download wine and then the windows version of firefox and it works.. I did this once when I needed a plugin that wasn't available for linux..

go to about:config , type in "back" as the filter. Methinks that "browser.backspace_action" probably has something to do with what you're asking.
