Totse decided to prune all of BI, the best thread BI had in quite a while was lost and never archived, though it reached 13 pages and was full of informative and helpful information on shoplifting.

So, I want you all to share your favorite shoplifting techniques and any shoplifting experiences you have had, so as to help us all learn and gain from your experiences.

Damn, this sucks. I had just had my first shoplifting experience today and was planning on ready all the pages in that thread.

Well barnes and noble and borders (can't confirm borders though), are easy places to lift from.

Barnes and Noble has no security, as in like no cameras, and i believe the things at the main door are just door dividers, and not alarms.

With that being said it's incredibly easy to lift from that store. Someone did mention a rumor that some Barnes and Nobles have a LP on the floor. But i believe it's just that, a "rumor".

So if your looking to begin, and you want some good reading goto barnes and noble, or mostly any bookstore.

Easiest stuff to steal, is magazines, thin(er) books like manga, or small good books, like the starcraft series, warcraft series, halo series of books.

I also heard there punishments arn't bad either. Someone said they got caught lifting from there and they had a 1 month ban and had to return the merchendise.

Most places if your caught lifting make you pay for the merchandise and ban you for like a year. So Barnes and Noble is leanient in terms of security, and punishment.

That was the main thing i learned from the other thread was Barnes and Noble was a great target. BTW I plan on paying them a visit today.

Free SD/flash memory cards:

What you'll need:

*Clothes that don't make you look like a "Punk rocker" or a homeless person.

*A largish electronics store.

What you do:

1. Go to store of your choice.

2. Go over to camera section.

Walk up to a camera, and open the SD/card slot, it usually has a little flap over it, that you push out with your thumb.

Push it open, now. it should contain a SD/camera card, some do, some don't. Have a look around at each one, some stores don't leave them in there, some do.

So far, I have gotten at least $300 of them this way. All of which have been sold at local computer stores/eBay.

Advantages of this method:

*Quick, easy, low risk.

*Could yeild a nice profit if you set up an eBay store or something.

*No security devices, unlike the actual cards in boxes.

Disadvantages of this method:

*All stores might not have them.

Difficulty:

4/10

Free alcohol:

What you need:

*Alcohol store.

*Balls.

*Skill (To a certain extent)

*A large coat.

What to do:

1. Go to alcohol store/store that sells alcohol.

2. Walk over to desired drink(s) with a shopping cart.

3. Place drinks into cart.

4. Place coat over drinks.

5. Walk out door.

If the alarm goes off, stop for one second. Look confused, shrug. And keep walking. If no alarm goes off, congratulations. Go around the corner/cross the road to where your car is waiting.

Advantages:

*Free alcohol.

*Low-risk unless you fuck up and you get some over-zealous teenager employee tackle you.

Disadvantages:

*You won't be able to go to that store for a while, if you have a recognisable face.

Hint: Go when it's busy.

Difficulty: 5/10

Here is another idea that works sometimes aswell but has a tiny rik factor to it(what theft doesn't)

What you need:

A few bags with the shops logo on from a previous visit

A friend

Some Money



Your friend goes into the store while you sit near the enterance drinking/doing something so you don’t look suspicious. Your friend gets what ever he needs to and puts them in the bag from a previous visit. Then he picks the stuff you actually want and put those in another bag from a pervious visit as well. Now he walks out the store with both bags, the security tell him to come back and pay for them as he drops the bag with all the good stuff near where your standing. He takes the other bag of cheap stuff and explains that he just forgot to pay and he is very sorry, while you walk away with bag he left outside.
