Between the bullsh*t posts you did get some good advice. Cranberry juice will help a lot, as will the over-the-counter preparation that was recommended. Basically, your Dr. is going to ask you to pee in a cup and prescribe an antibiotic. He'll have the specimen analyzed to make sure that it's nothing truly dangerous and a nurse will probably call you to let you know what they found out. You do need to do something about this. Also remember that a broken hymen doesn't mean anything, as the Dr. will tell your mother (if it comes up). Unless you're eleven or something, no self-respecting Dr. will tell your mother much of anything. And don't hesitate to say that you'd rather be alone for the exam...if there even is one.

Thats fine, nothing wrong with being safe. Just go somewhere else for it.

EDIT: I'm not saying this to avoid shame. But if it goes on your record that you test positive, it can really screw up your insurance. Even though it's illegal, it's not uncommon for them to find some loophole to drop you completely. Plus, you never know when it might come up down the road, and come back to bite you once its on your record.

agreed with the cranberry suggestion. just go to a drugstore and get the jamieson cranberry pills, it's like $15 and there's no prescription. try that first, and if it doesn't start feeling better in a couple of days, then go to the doctor.
but seriously, if your mom thinks your girlfriend is just your friend...why the fuck would she jump from "my daughter's friend" to "omg my daughter is a lesbian and this girl fingered her." first of all, girls having girl friends stay over is completely normal, so unless your mom has any indication that you two are doing each other she's not going to jump to that conclusion. second of all, you can break your hymen doing just about anything. don't tell me you're one of those girls who thinks hymen = virginity. do you not use tampons? cause there's an easy excuse.

no I know my initial thought was, "well duh tampon excuse." and because my mom is completely against me being into girls. so she thinks any girl-friend that I have that I hang out with a lot, i MUST be raping. my girlfriends like my best friend and has been for a while, so my mom already assumes "you spend to much time with her."
