Is installing rockbox on my ipod worth it?

I'm really happy with it besides the fact that i can't figure out how to install other builds properly, and the scrolling is very slow.

To be honest, no, rockbox isn't worth the hassle.

If you want to really customise your iPod, put iPodlinux on it (www.ipodlinux.org).

i've been using iPodWizard but the one feature I'm having trouble with is the back ground. anyone know about this?

I was able to fix my ipod when I put on a bad firmware. So if your good w/ prob solving go for it, if not.

Eh I put Linux on my old Photo Pod just to have video, when it broke i exchanged it for a new Video one SOOO, I havent needed that feature.

But yeah the linux has more games, apps, elements table (very cool!), etc. its pretty neet to show off. But not worth a novice recking there Ipod for
