I was thinking about filling clay pigeons with NC lacquer and letting them harden. then shooting it to see if it explodes. do you think it would work?

I don't know how the clay disks are launched, but almost anything I can think of that you could mould into targets would probably prematurely ignite as they are being launched.

Some hot lead/steel might get it to ignite, but I don't know how hot the shot still is upon impact.

No your not going to get NC to blow up. I used a 3gram AP cap and didn't even get the shit to blow up so no a bullet is not going to magically make your NC explode. As far as the KClO4 that guys a fucking moron. If you want to make something explode when you shoot it you'd have to use a bit of primary. Which actually sounds pretty fucking cool and I might just try to make some AP for this.

For clay pigons from what ive seen that you use to launch em theres a few ways theres automatic launcher machines or things that you hold and it flings it out using your own strength. Either way im sure it wouldn't cause a premature explosion as the discs are very fragile so if there was any jarring it might break the disks its a pretty smooth launch. Theres actual stuff you can buy to shoot to blow up I forget what its called but its pretty bad ass shit.


You should not be trying to shoot explosives because from the few posts ive seen from you, you're not that knowledgeable on them and need more experince before fucking around with enough primary to make this even worth it as it'd probably take 5-10grams if not more to make a decent explosion on impact plus it'd have to be big enough of a target to hit.
