Re: What's THE Most Romantic Meal?
Dont make anything too messy, or anything she's going to feel self concious eating.
Girls can be weird with that sort of thing.
Finger food might be a good idea, lots of different little dishes, then the main focus wont be on food.
A prawn salad might be good.
In my experience of cooking food for someone I'm courting, it's allways best to prepare a variety of different dishes, just so they've a choice, and if there's something you've made they dont like, it wont be awkward.
Unless you know what she likes to eat, and you know about her special diet particularities, going for variety is good.
Make a few different toppings and serve them with a bigass bowl of salad. Toppings such as prawn and sea food sauce, bacon and cheese, spiced chicken chunks, and a bowl of croutons. (cut bread up into cubes and fry it with some seasoning).
Have a pizza or something more junk foody on stand by incase she turns out to be a rather large eater and not the sort of girl who picks at a lettuice leaf all evening.
Have an array of dipping crisps like Doritos with some spicy dips, and a large platter of cut fruit and sweet vegetables like cucmber.
For hot things, serve a few bowls of noodles and rice and such. For a main dish, grilled chicken pieces are pretty good, but I dont know how much effort you want to put into this.
Are you planning on doing a dessert also?
