Good Books to Read

I just got an Amazon gift certificate, and I was hoping you guys could recommend some good literature that has Bad Ideas in it. Carshopping and Night Ops preferred, but I don't believe they have that as a book topic?

Harry and Ron steal a car in it! They also go on many night ops throughout the series.

Well, you should probably look into Evasion published by Crimeth Inc.

It was hosted on Rorta but I think the site's down and your eyes bleed after an hour of intense reading.

It's my favorite book EVAR! About a kid who bums around America hopping trains, hitch hiking, dumpster diving and shoplifting. A whole chapter (5 long chapters) is devoted to just shop lifting techniques.

This book is definitely the one you should buy first.

Please buy The Tropic of Cancer by Henry Miller. It does not contain exactly the pursuits you are talking about, but rather describes an attitude that begets one's best bad ideas. It was written in 1936 (i think) but is still applicable; this guy fucked and drank and ate his way through Paris, but his thoughts during this time are more interesting.
