This is my tip for those who are ignorant.
First off my short backround, I'm 18 and i've worked in retail for 2 years.
Here is my tip: When you steal something from a store, just walk out. The "security gaurds can't do shit. If they tell you to stop, keep walking. You could literally pick up a tv and just quickly walk out. Don't worry about security tags or anything like that. Don't think, just do it.

I'm going to be traveling around with little to no cash for a while, and this is pretty much how I planned on getting things. From my experience 99% of the time they won't do shit, except maybe ask you to stop.

This is exactly why I laugh whenever I hear about someone being arrested for shoplifting. You literally would have to sit around and wait for the police to show up to get in trouble.

But yes, just walk out. It is against store policy everywhere to accuse someone of theft.
