And so, in a country where there has been a popular Revolution
overthrowing Soviet Communism, where the president is a Poet and
a fan of the Velvet Underground, the need for a nation to run an
international network of spies is understood, implemented,
deployed and financed. No illusions about the responsibilities of
leadership in a free country are tolerated in the new gevernment.
What the hell are they up to in Prague?
The words that the young ladies voice speaks are the numbers zero
through nine, in non-standard Czech:
yedena (1) dva (2) shi (3) shtiri (4) pyet (5) shest (6) fedoom
(7) ossum (8) deviet (9) olla (0) Papaqui - Repeat Conet - End
This station is a perfect example of the bizzarre nature of Numbers
Stations; not one single element of its existance is normal, from the
intonation of the speaking voice, the strength of the transmission
signal, to the fact that a poet is in charge of the organization that
runs the station.

This recording was made on the 10th of November 1995, at
2200GMT, from a Lowe HF-225 direct to computer. The frequency
was 5300usb, and the signal recieved was very strong. OLX is
heard at a very high signal strength in the UK.
