The Problems of our Country (and what to do about it)

So I'm sure you all have noticed that this country is going to hell real quick. Republicans and evangelists run amok, spreading misinformation and preaching salvation for all who repent. But I do not blame them. Blame the government who has managed to convince people that character of candidates is more important than the actual issues. Blame those who are successfully manipulating this country. Meanwhile, the corporate world has achieved the seemingly impossible task of imposing itself on our lives even more than before. We are now a nation being watched, made homogenous by Wal-Mart and McDonalds and suburban housing developments. This is a country of people who do not care what we are doing overseas, because they do not see how these events can impact their lives. The PATRIOT act makes you a suspect if you like certain kinds of books and websites, or if you have certain political opinions. Overall, we are screwed unless we do something about it.

We have to bring down the government, or at least remind the people that they are not any better off with it around. How to do that I leave to the reader, but it must be done. We cannot work from within the system, since it is designed to limit the people's input. We need a change NOW, before any more damage can be done. The ignorant people of this country must see that their stupidity is finally paying off in bad ways. The problem is evident in the fact that all of these things CAN happen under the current system.

After the government is brought down, what then? A lot of people bitch a lot about things, but they propose no solutions. If you cause a lot of chaos, you must restore at least a small amount of order. Anarchy as a system really doesn't work, so I propose a parliamentary democracy. Then, you can decide on a party that represents a lot more of your interests.

Once again, how to bring about this change is up to you.
