Soul Society..what?

So here is something I don't get about Bleach's Soul Society. Soul Reapers send the souls of people that just died here before they linger and turn into hollows right? Well if the Soul Society contains departed souls, then why do Repears come from there and how are they born?

Watch the series, if you actually watch they explain it.
The story of how Rukia became a soul reaper basically explains it.

I think thats a little thing you have to read between the lines with. Same story kinda explains it. Only those with significant spirit energy will age. The expenditure ages them.
They are also the only people who eat, since food regains their expended powers.

big o could have been better.. but it had potential, and roger smith is akin to batman if you ask me. it was pretty cool, but not legendary

Did anybody else notice some redundancy in Roger's morals. he wont carry a gun, but he will shoot 100 missiles at you.

He was a negotiator.
He didn't carry a gun because that would hinder free negotiations.

But who expects a guy to have missiles in his car or, have a gaint robot?
